MC Real Estate Partners is a privately held owner/operator of office assets focused on the New York, Boston, and Washington, D.C. metro areas. We invest across the risk spectrum alongside a valued group of institutional and private capital partners.

MCRE identifies and pursues opportunities that can benefit from our bespoke approach to market repositioning and rebranding as well as our ability to implement high impact capital and aesthetic improvements. We target properties consistent with our partners’ strategic priorities. These are typically located in the urban core but also include transit oriented or highly amenitized near-in submarkets, in each case supported by macro-economic drivers and strong fundamental demographics.

We are flexible and creative buyers, with the ability to address complex transactional issues and embrace property specific challenges. We are also proactive owner/operators developing dynamic work environments and engaged social communities for our tenants.

HISTORY

MCRE represents the evolution of a 20-year relationship between founding principals Andy Nathan and Steve Grant. Each brings over 30 years of global experience acquiring, developing, owning and operating commercial real estate, together with a keen appreciation for the challenges and opportunities presented when investing across economic cycles.

The MCRE team blends the institutional perspective, broad expertise and independent successes of its predecessor firms, Meritage Properties and ClearRock Properties, with a nimble, intensely focused, locally embedded strategy.

We have an established track record as trusted owner/operators committed to delivering the entrepreneurial responsiveness and attention to detail of a boutique firm coupled with the transactional experience, visibility and access of a larger organization.
